Pickleball Court Dimensions
A pickleball court is 20 feet wide by 44 feet long, the same size as a doubles badminton court. Measure to the outside of the lines. Singles and doubles use the same court.

Court Lines Explained
The lines are 2 inches wide. Each service court is 10 feet wide by 15 feet deep. The kitchen, also called the non-volley zone, is 7 feet deep on each side of the net.
Net Height
The net is 36 inches high at the sidelines and 34 inches in the middle. The net posts sit 12 inches outside the sidelines.
How Much Space Do You Need?
The court is 20x44 ft, but you need run-off room around it. The recommended minimum total area is 30x60 ft, and 34x64 ft is preferred for tournaments. A driveway or backyard can work if you have about that space, and a portable net makes it easy.
Converting a Tennis Court
A tennis court's lines measure 36x78 ft, and the full fenced area around it is usually about 60x120 ft. That full area fits 4 pickleball courts with room to run, while the lined tennis court itself fits about 2. Many parks simply tape pickleball lines over a tennis court and lower the net to 34 inches at the center.

Is the kitchen line part of the kitchen? Yes. Touching the line counts as being in the kitchen.
Why is the net lower in the middle? The rules set it at 36 inches at the sidelines and 34 inches at the center, so it dips slightly in the middle.
What size are the service courts? Each is 10 ft wide by 15 ft deep.
