How to Keep Score in Doubles

Doubles scores are called as three numbers, like 0-0-2. The first number is the serving team's score, the second is the receiving team's score, and the last is the server, 1 or 2. Every game starts at 0-0-2 because the first team has only one server, so if that server loses a rally, it's a side out right away. Only the serving team can score. When you win a rally while serving, you get a point and your server switches places with their partner and serves again from the other service court. When you lose a rally, your partner serves next (if you were the first server). If you were already the second server, it's a side out, and the other team serves. Games are played to 11, and you have to win by 2.
