Pickleball Round Robin Generator

In a round robin, every player gets to play with and against as many of the others as possible, so no one is stuck with the same partner all day. Each round, the group is split into courts, the teams change, and everyone's results add up on a standings table. It's a fair way to run open play, a club day or a tournament with a few courts, because the most wins go to the players who win the most games, not the ones who got lucky with one draw.

How to use it

1. Type every player's name, one per line.
2. Enter how many courts you have and how many rounds you want to play.
3. Press Generate rounds, then play each round on the court shown. Anyone listed as sitting out rests that round.
4. Enter each game's score and the standings update as you go.

Common questions

How many players do I need? At least four for one doubles court, and the generator handles groups that don't split evenly by resting some players in turn.
How do I keep it fair? Each round, the players who sit out rotate, and partners change as often as possible so no one is stuck with the same person all day.
What decides the winner? The standings rank players by wins. Ties go to the better point difference (points won minus points lost), then to whoever scored more points.
